When Melbourne photographer Zosia Fabijanska ordered a headpiece for a photo shoot the brief was simply “shades of white….. and a bit twiggy”
Perfect timing for viburnum’s short season of flowering, with freesia, spray roses, blushing bride and silver birch sprigs and catkins.

This gorgeous flower crown was designed and created by Sacha as a surprise head piece for a lucky bride-to-be on her Hens night. Her thoughtful friends worked with Sacha to create a stunning and unique garland that included daffodils, andromeda , freesias, delphinium and jasmine.
This Winter bride wanted to embrace the season and chose a rich wintery palette for her bouquet.
Gorgeous purple kale and velvety burgundy cymbidiums combined with deep blue hyacinths, red freesia and red berries.
The theme was carried through to the boys’ buttonholes and the bride’s hairpiece.

Inspired by the bride’s floral crown – A Crowning Glory, November 10th’s post – Lucy ordered a simpler style in heirloom colours for a rural wedding she was to attend.
Grandiflora’s antique and honeymoon rose varieties, together with a touch of kalmia and a sprig of copper beech give this floral crown a lovely old fashioned look.
